The Gualixo, an English Electric electric passenger train built in England in 1951 that run in the São Paulo-Campinas route, by a special agreement between E.F. Santos a Jundiaí and the Companhia Paulista. The nickname of this train came after a famous race-horse, probably due to the relative high speed of that train... These trains were used up to the late seventies; the date of its dismissal is unknown. A bad damaged unit still survives at Paranapiacaba. This photo was kindly sent to the E.F. Brasil site by Alberto H. del Bianco, from Indaiatuba SP.
