The Estrella (Star), self-propelled diesel passenger train built in England, in Paranapiacaba, ready to step down the Serra do Mar. The locobreque (brake-van) can not be seen as it is coupled in the front of the train. This rare color photo was shot by Maurício Torres, from Miami U.S.A., in 1974. He kindly sent a copy to this album.
