A rare historical color photo showing former Companhia Mogiana engineers, but then working under FEPASA administration, and a diesel-electric GL-8 locomotive which still shows the original livery of the Mogiana and the original lower front windows, a typical feature of such machine that were supressed in the posterior revampings. The locomotive was pulling the MC2 train (passenger and freight) that run between Poços de Caldas and Aguaí. This photo belongs to the former Companhia Mogiana engineer João Borges de Souza; he can be seen in this photo in front of the locomotive, wearing a Companhia Mogiana kepi; he lives at Aguaí (SP) and worked in the Aguaí-Poços de Caldas branch during most of his railroad worker career; he retired in 1979. The other man is José Alves Pimenta, assistant of engineer. This photo was shot in the Poços de Caldas station in September 19, 1975 and was kindly sent by Domingos Antonio Soares da Cruz, from São Paulo SP.
