Photo of the so-called Rio Claro electric commuter train. These metric gauge units, supplied in the late fifties by Toshiba to E.F. Sorocabana, were completely refurbished at the former Companhia Paulista's Rio Claro maintenance works in the early eighties. These units then were used to serve the metric gauge lines that were not revamped during the major overhaul program of the São Paulo city FEPASA's commuter lines that took place from the late seventies to the early eighties.
