Unfortunately the Anhumas-Jaguariúna line has no connections with the Brazilian railroad network, as they were erradicated when the new Boa Vista-Paulínia-Jaguariúna variant was inaugurated. So all cars and locomotives that come from other national railroads to this A.B.P.F. line had to be transported from Campinas or Boa Vista stations by truck to the Anhumas station. This is a expensive and risky operation, as this photo shows. A former N.O.B. wooden car is being lifted at Anhumas station. Photo kindly supplied by Hélio Gazetta, from Campinas SP.
