The construction of the Bariri dam, in 1965, sadly condemned the spectacular Ayrosa Galvão bridge, which had only a live span of 26 years. This photo, shot in 1963 or 1964, shows the construction of the third bridge of Companhia Paulista over the Tietê river; the bridges are seen from Jaú to Pederneiras.
