And now we can see our Pimentinha starring her adventures in India! The success of this kind of locomotive in the Brazilian and Spanish railroads also recommended it for use at the Indian railroads. In that country five classes of this locomotive were used. Classes WCM1 to WCM3 were built in England and are almost identical to the Brazilian and Spanish machines. Class WCM4 was built in Japan by Hitachi, while class WCM5 was built in India. These two last models shows some relevant differences in relation to the original design.
