In 2012, the P&W purchased the Seaview Transportation Company (ex-US Government railway servicing a Coast Guard/Navy base) from its original owners, replaced the collection of EMD locomotives with a single DP3, then, after a few years of diesel operation, strung wire and brought in a pair of class O motors to handle switching.
It sees about 10,000 carloads/year these days, making it one of the most profitable of the P&W’s various subsidiaries.
