Find information here on your OCTM Area Representative, the OCTM Executive Board, and OCTM elections, and visit our President's Place section for news and information from the OCTM President. Members are also welcome to attend Board meetings. During the 2018-19 school year, Board meetings are November 3rd from 8-10 am by videoconference, February 2nd from 8-10 am by videoconference, May 4th at a location to be determined in the Portland area, and at the Oregon Math Leaders conference in McMinnville in the first week of August.

OCTM ElectionsNancy Swarat became OCTM President-Elect in the April 2018 election, and current Secretary of Treasury Becky Reed was elected for another term. Congratulations and thanks to both!
The President-Elect is a one-year term followed by a two-year term as President and a one-year term as Past-President. The President-Elect shares the following duties with the Past President:
The Secretary of Treasury is a two-year term. According to the OCTM Constitution, the Secretary of the Treasury "shall be responsible for collection and payment of funds, maintain the financial records and status of the organization, train the incoming Secretary of Treasury – Elect… prepare with the assistance of the Budget Committee the annual budget, obtain biennial review, prepare the annual financial report for each year he/she is in office, file the annual tax return [and] chair the Budget Committee.” In the OCTM April 2017 election, Francie Bostwick was elected as OCTM's Vice President and Cynthia Townsend as the OCTM Secretary. OCTM wishes to thank InterMountain ESD for help with setting up and implementing OCTM's elections. The InterMountain Education Services District services Eastern Oregon districts including Umatilla, Morrow, Union and Baker counties. Their primary mission is to offer direct support to students, classroom teachers, parents, and the community.

Email: OCTMpresident@gmail.com President's Duties The president shall call meetings of the Executive Board, implement directives of the Executive Board, direct and guide the program of the organization, nominate all appointed officers for approval by the Executive Board, act at their own discretion in situations considered to be emergencies, subject to later discussion and action by the Executive Board, and otherwise implement the provisions of the constitution and OCTM policy.
